My Journey with Clay: The Art of Healing

My name is Kinga Parajdi, and my love for art and craft began in my childhood.

It was a way to express myself — a safe haven where I could always pour my creativity.

But it wasn't until the past seven years that I discovered my true passion: ceramics.

Working with clay felt like coming home. The softness of the material, the scent, the magical process of creating something beautiful from nothing — it gave me a profound sense of fulfillment.

In 2023, however, my life took an unexpected turn. I had a stroke, and suddenly, everything came to a halt. What once felt natural now seemed fragile. That experience forced me to live in the moment, to reflect on what truly matters.

And in that silence, I found peace and strength through working with clay.

Shaping and creating not only brought me calm, but also new inspiration. With the guidance of my mentor, I discovered a special ceramic technique that transformed my artwork. I began crafting unique pieces — like lamps that not only give off beautiful light, but also tell a story. This technique opened up a world of possibilities and gave me the confidence to grow — not just as an artist, but as a person.

I realized that this journey with clay brought me healing — and a deep desire to share that experience and passion with others. That’s how I began offering workshops, inviting people to discover for themselves what it’s like to work with clay.

It’s more than just a workshop; it’s a moment of stillness, a journey inward. For some, it’s a chance to pause amidst a hectic life; for others, it’s the discovery of a hidden talent.

My mission is simple: I want to show you how working with clay can help you find peace, healing, and a renewed sense of creativity. Clay is so much more than just a material — it’s a medium through which you reconnect with yourself.

With my hands in the clay and my heart full of passion, I now share my art — and a part of myself. Together, we create something meaningful.
